After donning the saffron shawl, Etela Rajender turned into a big critic of the TRS party and KCR. In a run-up to the Huzurabad by-elections, he is holding a series of meetings with his followers and supporters in his constituency.
Intensifying his attack on the ruling side, the former Minister opined that TRS will not win the election. In his recent meeting with the party cadre, he said the victory will be of BJP in the polls.
Amid this, a big development took place in Telangana after Anti Corruption Bureau sleuths carried out searches at Nampally Exhibition society’s office. The searches were conducted on Friday.
As per the media reports, the ACB received complaints about alleged irregularities in society funds, and irregularities were also cited over the allocation of shops at the famous exhibition grounds.
Going by the complaints, ACB sleuths led by Hyderabad DSP Srinanth conducted the searches. It is said that the various pieces of documents and data available at the society office were examined.
The ACB’s move has a big prominence as Etela Rajender, who used to hold the Health Ministry in KCR’s Cabinet served as the President of the Nampally Exhibition Society. He recently resigned from the post along with MLA’s post.
As of now, there are no details on the searches as the ACB department is yet to make any comments on this. An announcement is awaited by the special agency.
