Ram Pothineni has been in the industry from the past 16 years. While he scored many hits and became the heartthrob of girls, it was ‘iSmart Shankar’ that turned him into a star and took him to the next level. He got a huge mass following after this commercial potboiler and we witnessed it through the opening collections of his last film ‘RED’. Despite the film not getting positive reviews, it entered the safe zone due to Ram’s stardom. His upcoming film with Tamil director Lingusamy has a lot of expectations on it.
It is Ram’s maiden bilingual film and it will be filmed in both Telugu and Tamil languages. This untitled movie will be released in multiple languages and Srinvasaa Chitturi is bankrolling it in a lavish manner. Happening beauty Krithi Shetty has been roped in to play the heroine in this flick while rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.
Ram is known for his energy and Lingusamy made some cool action entertainers in the past like ‘Awara’, ‘Vettai’, ‘Pandem Kodi’ and ‘Sikander’. People are curious to know how the Tamil director will be presenting Ram in this highly-anticipated film. Apparently, Ram is highly impressed by the narration of the full script and the shooting is about to kickstart from July 12th.
This is the sixth film under Srinvasaa Silver Screen banner and Sujeeth Vaasudev who worked on films like ‘Drushyam’ and ‘Lucifer’ will be the cinematographer for this film. Fight masters Anbu and Arivu who composed brilliant fights in films like ‘Dhruva’, ’24’, ‘Kabali’, ‘KGF: Chapter 1’, ‘Khaidi’, ‘Mumbai Saga’ and ‘Radhe’ are working on this project while national award winner Naveen Nooli is the editor. Sai Madhav Burra is penning the dialogues for this bilingual.
Producer Srinivasaa Chitturi revealed that it is a powerful mass subject and everyone is very excited to start filming. The first schedule will kickstart from 12th July in Hyderabad and music sittings with Devi Sri Prasad all already done as per the producer. Apparently, the star music director already composed a love song and the rest are coming out brilliantly. The rest of the details regarding the film’s cast is expected to come out soon.
