We usually hear about how a director or an actor becoming overnight stars just with one film. But there is one production banner that entered the top league with just one success. It is ‘Homebale Films’ which is Kannada based production house that started making films from 2014.
While it made films with Kannada stars like Puneeth Rajkumar in the past, it was ‘KGF: Chapter 1’ that completely changed its fate. It was a pan-Indian film which was the costliest film ever made in their banner. While the trailer appealed to the audience, no one expected the sheer magnitude of its success. It landed them in a lot of profits and they became a huge production house in South India right now.
Apart from making ‘KGF: Chapter 2′ with a lot of budget, they are even bankrolling Prabhas’ pan-Indian project ‘Salaar’. This movie is being canned on a grand scale and there are high expectations on it. Apart from making huge pan-Indian films, they are even making straight Kannada big projects with Srimurali, Puneeth Rajkumar and others. But the analysts say that the result of ‘KGF 2’ is crucial for them as it can make them or break them. Let us see what happens!
