Of late, Telangana Ministers are hitting the headlines with their controversial remarks. A few days ago, Panchayati Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao made objectionable remarks on a woman MPDO.
Now, Agriculture Minister Niranjan Reddy had passed some controversial comments. He commented that not all educated people get government jobs.
The Minister, who participated in a review meeting in Nagarkurnool, questioned whether the haulier work done at the shopping malls was employment. Niranjan Reddy commented that there is more employment in Telangana than Hamali work. “What is the employment beyond this? This is what employment means,” he said.
However, the Minister has strongly condemned the media for distorting and broadcasting what he said in Nagarkurnool.
An announcement to this effect was made on Thursday. ‘Our government has increased employment opportunities for the people since it came to power. It is the duty of the government to include it,” he said, adding that he regretted that various media houses had distorted his statements.
