Actress says she was scared to work with Balakrishna

Pragya Jaiswal is one of the establishing actresses in the Telugu film industry, who has been proving her mettle ever since her debut in 2014. The sultry diva is currently working with Nandamuri Balakrishna for the latter’s upcoming film, Akhanda, which is being directed by Boyapati Srinu.

Interestingly, Jaiswal has revealed that she was initially scared about doing a film with Balakrishna. In a recent interview with a popular Eglish daily, she said, “I was initially scared to work with Balakrishna because I had heard a lot of stories about him. But the stories that circulate about him are different from reality. They are misleading,” the actress said.

Pragya added that she realised that Balakrishna is so chilled out, easy going and full of energy after working with him. Speaking about her role in Akhanda, the Kanche actress said that her character in the film is not just a pretty prop which is like a cameo. It’s a very strong and powerful role.

Jaiswal also said that she is in talks with some more films and she will announce them in the coming days. However, she asserted that the audience will see more of her in Telugu cinema.
