The much-awaited first song, ‘Dosti’, from SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus was released on August 1, in five languages – Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada – simultaneously, giving a peek into the musical world of RRR.
The music video, which went viral all over the internet, has been shot with five singers in their respective languages with music director Keeravani mentoring them.
Now, the latest update is that the makers of the pan-Indian multi-starrer movie had spent Rs 3 Crore to make the Dosti song. They build a huge set in Sarathi studio in Hyderabad for shooting this song. For singers – Hemachandra, Anirudh, Amit Trivedi, Vijay Yesudas and Yazin Nizar – and the song setup, the producer had spent Rs 3 Cr.
Dosti also offers a brief glimpse of Ram Charan and Jr NTR, who will be playing the lead characters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem in the movie, RRR is tentatively slated for release on October 13 this year.
