Rajamouli has been contemplating the optimal release date for Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s RRR for a long time now. The film is all but confirmed to skip Dasara release, given the delay in production and the new release date announcement is not too far from now.
The latest updates are suggesting that Rajamouli has locked a tentative Sankranthi release date for RRR.
Apparently, Rajamouli is eyeing 7th January 2022 for RRR. He is aware of the fact that the film will register earth-shattering openings no matter when it releases and if it garners a positive response, the multi-starrer can set the box office on fire during the Sankranthi season.
If RRR actually releases on 7th January, it will give other Sankranthi releases, Bheemla Nayak, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, and Radhe Shyam which will be out on 12th, 13th, and 14th January some breathing space as well.
