Senior Congressman, former Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhara Reddy is widely regarded for implementing schemes that benefit the poor in the state. Thanks to his schemes, YSR is known as the darling of the masses. People still remember YSR as a people’s leader.
Today is the 12th death anniversary of Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy, popularly known as YSR. He passed away on the second of September in 2009 after his helicopter crashed in the Nallamala Forest area.
On the occasion of YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s Vardhanthi, the family members reached the YSR ghat and paid floral tributes to the great leader. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. YSR’s daughter, YSRTP chief YS Sharmila and her family members reached the ghat and paid tributes to YSR.
YSR followers and sympathizers overseas have also arranged meetings and events to remember the great leader on the occasion. YSR followers in the United States have paid their respects to the leader.
