People’s leader, who strived for the betterment of the poor in the state, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy is always remembered for his flagship schemes and initiatives to lend a helping hand for the poor that made him close to the people.
The politicians across the parties are remembering the great leader on his death anniversary. The leaders from various parties in two Telugu states are paying tributes to YSR. The Congress party had also paid tributes to the mass leader on the occasion.
YSR’s son, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took to microblogging site Twitter to share a heartfelt note about his father on his 12th death anniversary. The tweet was made in Telugu.
Remembering his association with his father, YS Jagan said his father’s inspiration leads him in every step he takes and every decision he makes. He is remembered as one of the members of every household even after 12 years of his demise, he added.
YSR-Jagan had made history by becoming one of the rare father-son duos to have become the Chief Minister of the state. Except for the duo, no leaders from Andhra Pradesh have managed to reach the CM post.
