Prabhas’s Salaar is one of the most awaited projects in Indian cinema. The stakes are high on the big budget action thriller that is being directed by Prashanth Neel. This film is halfway through the shoot and Prabhas is determined to wrap up the entire shoot by the end of this year. He is currently busy with Adipurush and will be back on the sets of Salaar very soon. Prashanth Neel is planning the schedules in such a way that he cans the scenes featuring Prabhas at the earliest. The sequences which feature Prabhas will be shot on a priority basis.
Coming to the topic, Salaar will apparently incorporate Hollywood technology ‘Dark Centric Theme’. The film will be shot with this technique and it will leave the viewers in a state of exhilaration with its technical finesse. Dark Centric Theme technology means that the majority of the film will have a dark tone. The visuals will have a dark theme for most parts and consequently, the majority of the sequences will have a black-ish shade. This visual effect will further elevate the action blocks in the film.
Dark Centric Theme is one of the favorite technologies for renowned Hollywood filmmaker, Christopher Nolan. The widely popular filmmaker used this exact same technique for his previous films Tenet, the Batman Trilogy, amongst others. He often tends to incorporate this technology in almost all of his big budget films and now, Salaar is also using this technology. Also, Salaar is the first Indian film to use this filmmaking technology. So, it will most certainly offer a new movie watching experience to the viewers. It would be really interesting to see how Prashanth Neel will use this technology to showcase his action oriented storyline.
Hombale Films are bankrolling Salaar on a huge budget and it is certainly one of the most projects in Indian cinema. The filming is underway currently. The makers are planning to release the film in theatres in the latter half of 2022. Prabhas plays a proper mass character in the film. Shruti Hassan plays Prabhas’s love interest in the actioner.
