Bommarillu Baskar and Akil Akkineni have breathed a heavy sigh of relief as they have finally managed to taste box office. Their latest outing Most Eligible Bachelor put on a fine show at the ticket counters and it is being termed a hit in box office terms.
Coming to the topic, Baskar is apparently pocketing a total of Rs 1 crore remuneration for Most Eligible Bachelor.
He was initially promised a remuneration of Rs 60 lakhs and an additional Rs 40 lakh if the film fares well at the box office and turns out to be a hit. Now that Most Eligible Bachelor has attained the hit status, Baskar is taking home as much as Rs 1 crore.
Akhil, who had to wait for six long years to score a box office hit has managed to do so with MEB now. He has promised to work under Geetha Arts production for another film in the near future.
