The Telugu Desam Party(TDP) is waging a war against the ruling party YSRCP against the alleged attacks on the party offices. Chandrababu Naidu had called for a 36-hour protest against the attacks at Mangalagiri. However, the protest is receiving a lukewarm response. It is said that TDP supremo, former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is also not happy with the response.
As another setback for the party, Lakshmi Parvathi, widow of TDP founder, yesteryear Superstar of Tollywood Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao(NTR) took potshots at the protest and said people present at the protest site are talking about alcohol and Biryani. Special arrangements were made there for people to have food, Lakshmi Parvathi said.
YSRCP leader, President of Telugu Academy Lakshmi Parvathi breathed fire on Chandrababu Naidu and said he did not change his way of cheating others. NTR is innocent and he(Chandrababu Naidu) cheated him. He did not change his behavior, Lakshmi Parvathi alleged.
Lakshmi Parvathi had come down severely on Chandrababu Naidu saying that he is known for telling lies all his life. Don’t know he was born with a lie or the lie was born with him. Can’t say if he can win in his Assembly constituency. He taught corruption and lies to his insufficient son. Now he taught his son how to abuse. Everyone knows how distant Chandrababu Naidu is from manners, she said.
Lakshmi Parvathi has been at loggerheads with Chandrababu Naidu, her son-in-law since 1995 after he became the chief of the Telugu Desam Party(TDP). Chandrababu Naidu aka CBN is accused by a section of TDP supporters and his opponents of dethroning TDP founder Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and backstabbing him.
Lakshmi Parvathi also has the same opinion and has been accusing Chandrababu Naidu. Since then, Lakshmi Pravthi has never missed an opportunity to lash out at Chandrababu Naidu. Her attacks were intensified after TDP suffered a humiliating defeat in the 2019 elections, followed by Tirupati by-elections and local body elections.
Following the series of humiliating defeats, Naidu’s popularity has been declining and the TDP cadre is demanding CBN to bring Young Tiger NTR back to the party. During his visit to the Kuppam constituency, he was asked the same by the TDP activists and party workers.
