Cm Jagan Gives Clarity On Three Capital Bill Repeal!

Having announced the decision to withdraw the three capitals bill, the Andhra Pradesh government had introduced the bill to repeal the capitals bills on Monday in the ongoing Assembly sessions. Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy announced the bill and addressed the house.

Leader of the House Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had addressed the house and gave clarity on the issue. He said that the bill was repealed as it had a few errors that made it land in issues. To see that no such issues arise a fresh bill will be brought very soon, he said.

We will introduce the new revamped bill very soon by taking the hopes and aspirations of the people into consideration. We have taken the decision to protect the interests of the public. We will come with a new bill soon, he added.

The Chief Minister added that the state needs a capital city that will be on par with Bengaluru and Chennai. Visakhapatnam has all the qualities to be the capital city for Andhra Pradesh. In the next five years, Visakhapatnam will emerge as one of the biggest capital cities. I have nothing against Amaravati. My house is in the same region. Amaravati has no proper facilities. With three capitals, Andhra Pradesh will have three developed cities, Jagan added.

With the comments, the Andhra Pradesh government had once again made it clear that it has no intention of taking a backstep. During his speech, CM Jagan had spoken highly about Vizag and the facilities it has to offer which makes it the perfect choice for the capital city.
