SS Thaman rarely gives interviews as he enjoys working round the clock on different albums. He composed music for Akhanda, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Bheemlanayak almost at the same time.
The composer spoke to Senior Journalist Radhakrishna for a TV show and he said that he worked hard to achieve this position and he will continue doing so.
He also said that he loves to work on multiple genre films at the same time as they throw a challenge to him. The composer revealed that he is still hurt about a composition of his not getting enough traction.
He said that he expected Yeda Poyinado from Aravinda Sametha to become a major hit as it is difficult to bring such emotion in a tune like he did with that song.
He also said that he wanted to see the song becoming a sensation post release as that would have given him more satisfaction.
He replied saying that he did not want to be recognised as a man who encourages his family members by giving songs to his wife, who is a good singer.
