Pushpa has potential to get more collections for premiers than what they have got. Akhanda with $9 ticket has collected $350K for premiers but Puspha also making the same with $20-$23 ticket at most of the locations.
Pushpa making the same moola with almost double the ticket price proves that it could have made almost double collections if more theaters are available. Most of the theaters in US and India are taken by Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Poor choice of release date is causing a big blow to Pushpa movie in USA. US distributor could have been more aggressive in securing more single screen theaters and pushed for more shows.
Akhanda had crossed $1 million in US and still running with $9 ticket and we have to wait and see how much Pushpa will collect in the long run. Pushpa has to collect at least $ 2.5 M in US to breakeven which will be a uphill task if movies gets divided talk after premiers.
