The makers of ‘RRR’ decided to postpone their film and it upset every film lover. The film was supposed to hit the screens on 7th and Prabhas’ was supposed to release his ‘Radhe Shyam’ on 14th January. Due to the restriction of occupancy in theatres and low ticket rates, the ‘RRR’ team made a decision to back out of the Sankranti race as it would be non-profitable considering their budget.
Since ‘Radhe Shyam’ is also a pan-Indian project made on a grand budget, rumors started popping up that this film may also be postponed. This worried the fans but the producers have clarified that they will not be delaying the release any further. They assured that ‘Radhe Shyam’ will be arriving on 14th January without fail and Prabhas along with the main cast will be promoting the film all across the country in the next few days.
This is the best time to release ‘Radhe Shyam’ as it has no big competition. A couple of small films are releasing in Telugu along with Ajith’s ‘Valimai’ in Tamil. This is not a huge problem for a pan-Indian project and they can recover their investment during the festive season with no competitors. The only thing ‘Radhe Shyam’ needs is a positive talk to set the box office on fire.
Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, this epic love drama has Pooja Hegde playing the female lead. Prabhas will be seen as a world-renowned palmist in this movie.
