The PRC issue in Andhra Pradesh is showing no sign of settling down. The employees are protesting against the PRC recommendations and in a few days, they will not take part in their duties. As the next big step in the protest, the employees will go on indefinite strike from the 7th of this month.
In the middle of the protests, Andhra Pradesh Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Botsa Satyanarayana issued a warning to the employees and urged them to not pass any unwanted comments against Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The Minister said that distasteful comments against the Chief Minister will not be entertained and the employees who make such comments will have to face the consequences.
He urged the employees to be careful while talking about the Chief Minister and said that they have to face the consequences if they cross the line while talking about Jagan.
On the occasion, Botsa Satyanarayana also made it clear that the old PRC recommendations will not be implemented for the salaries and the employees will get the sarees as per the new recommendations.
Saying that the Fitment, HRA, and DA will be given to the employees, the Minister slammed the protesting employees for not trying to resolve the issue even though the Minister’s committee had called them for the talks.
