Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister, Narayana Swamy, has been strangely silent for the past several months and has not made a single statement on the protests being carried out by the government employees, or on the new districts being introduced in the state, raising a lot of eyebrows. Given that this three-time MLA from Gangadhara Nellore constituency in Chittoor district is known for his straight cut statements, which often make headlines, it is surprising to all that he has not made a single statement in the last few months.
Even when he’s attending some public function, Narayana Swamy is not making a single statement, which is further making everyone question what the reason could be. Swamy earlier questioned the teachers for taking huge salaries and sending their children to private schools. He made more controversial statements after that, which landed him in deep trouble, so bad that Jagan is said to have told him that he would be removed from his post if he carried out such behaviour.
It got to the point where Swamy fell on Jagan’s feet and was later reprimanded for the same. While Swamy, later on, said that it doesn’t matter whether or not he remains the Deputy CM, as posts come and go, he has remained warily silent.
