Tollywood rising star Vijay Deverakonda has teamed up with director Puri Jagannath for a sports drama, titled Liger. Set against the backdrop of mixed martial arts, the movie marks their first-time collaboration and it will release in theatres on August 25. It was reported that the shooting of Liger was wrapped and the actor-director duo joined hands again for their immediate project, which is titled Janaganamana. The shooting of this movie is expected to be completed before the release of Liger.
Besides this movie, it was already announced that Vijay will be joining forces with director Shiva Nirvana. As per reports, the talented director is done with the script work and is waiting for the Arjun Reddy actor to join the sets. Mythri Movie Makers is said to be backing this project.
Now, the latest buzz is that makers are holding talks with Kiara Advani to play the female lead opposite Vijay. For the unversed, Kiara and Vijay worked for an advertisement, which caught the attention of people. The actress, in one of her interviews, said that she would like to act with the Geetha Govindham actor. Well, it remains to be seen will the Bollywood diva comes on board for Shiva Nirvana’s project.
