Senior hero Srikanth is a known personality to every Tollywood film lover. He worked in over 125 films and he is still keeping himself busy with supporting roles. After impressing everyone with his villainy in Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda’, Srikanth is currently working on Ram Charan’s project with legendary filmmaker Shankar.
He is an active member of Movie Artists Association and politics related to it. The ‘Mahatma’ actor is an admirer of Megastar Chiranjeevi and his ‘ATM’ character in Chiru’s ‘Shankar Dada’ series cannot be forgotten so easily.
Recently, Megastar told that he doesn’t like to be called Industry Pedda and he would rather be the son of this industry who is always available when the film industry needs him.
Srikanth came up with his own analysis regarding this. The senior actor stated that Chiranjeevi is definitely the industry Pedda as he helped a lot of people over the past two decades. He even said that many go to Chiranjeevi when they need help and there is nothing wrong in referring to him as Industry Pedda after the late Dasari Narayana Rao.
As we know, Megastar was the one who took the initiative to hold talks with the AP government regarding ticket prices. He personally met YS Jagan at the beginning and took stars like Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Rajamouli and others with him for their second meet. He did all he could to help the film industry.
We need to wait and see if Chiru responds to Srikanth’s comments or not.
