Kollywood star Dhanush’s much-awaited film ‘Maaran’ is all set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on March 11. The makers today unveiled the trailer of the film and it promises an intense action drama.
Directed by Karthick Narean, Maaran sees both Dhanush and Malavika Mohanan playing journalists. It appears like the lead actor is going after a bad politician, played by Samuthirakani, and exposes him to the public.
Produced by Sathya Jyothi films, Maaran is touted to be an investigative thriller. Smruthi Venkat is seen playing Dhanush’s sister while Master Mahendran is playing a police officer in the film. GV Prakash Kumar has scored the music. The film also stars Jayaprakash and Aadukalam Narain among others.
The screenplay for the Dhanush starrer has been penned by director Karthick Naren along with eminent writers Suhas and Sharfu.
