Telugu Desam Party chief, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, is known to be a highly strategic politician, who never skips a chance to strengthen his political relations in the state, seizing every opportunity he gets. While he receives flak for the same on several occasions, he nevertheless continues to follow that method. Naidu recently exhibited this trait when he spoke to Congress leader K V P Ramachandra Rao at the dead body of TDP leader and former MP Yadlapati Venkatrao in Guntur, who died on Monday.
No one knows what the two politicians talked about, but it is very well known that Chandrababu has been trying to better the TDP’s position in the state and to win back the confidence of the people of Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu forged an alliance with the Congress ahead of the 2019 elections and has distanced himself from the party after the resounding defeat he met with. In recent times, Naidu has been trying to get back into the good books of the BJP and has also been trying to get back with the Jana Sena.
With Chandrababu now talking to KVP, which has definitely surprised everyone – given that he seems to gave spoken politics at the death scene of a person – it is being speculated that this talk would have a significant impact in the coming days. It is being predominantly said that Chandrababu could be trying to get the votes of the Congres party in AP, which has lost its significance in the state. Given that the TDP is in a much better position, Naidu is said to be trying to take advantage of the situation. What these two might have spoken about, and what its results will be, is something to watch out for, in the days to come.
