Telangana Chief Minister KCR is known to be a really good public speaker, who doesn’t usually mince his words when addressing the people or the media. He makes his intentions very clear and looks like it’s the same now too. Speaking to the media recently, KCR said that there’s no solid separate front in national politics yet and that only discussions are going on currently.
KCR has been meeting with several leaders from many states for the past several months, in a move to go against the BJP. However, KCR hasn’t been very forthcoming of joining with Congress either, as many others have. MK Stalin of Tamil Nadu, HD Deve Gowda of Karnataka, Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray of Maharasthra and Hemanth Soren of Jharkhand are some of the people KCR met with, and all of them have some sort of understanding with the Congress. It’s only West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal who have decided to not be associated with the Congress. As a result, KCR seems to be in a sort of dilemma here, as to whom he should be associated with.
The Congress party was the one that granted a separate Telangana state, and even then, in 2014, KCR never showed any solid support to the party, and in 2019, he allied with the BJP. Now, KCR has said several times that he wishes to push the country in a new direction, for a better tomorrow, and that this has nothing to do with any anti-BJP or anti-Congress sentiments. He also said that whatever he’s trying to do will take some time and that all of it won’t take place in just a few days’ time. IT is now to be seen what KCR will finally be able to achieve.
