If there is one film for which the entire Indian film industry is eagerly waiting for is ‘RRR’. This pan-Indian film is without a doubt the biggest release of this year.
It is all set to hit the silver screens on 25th March and people can’t wait to witness the visual marvel readied by SS Rajamouli.
There is a euphoria surrounding this film and the pre-sales of premiers in the USA perfectly describes it. With more than 12 days to go for the premiers, the pre-sales have crossed the 1 million mark which is astounding.
‘RRR’ turned out to be the fastest film to achieve this feat. Being a Rajamouli film after the ‘Baahubali’ franchise made this film one of the craziest projects in India. Also, it is the first film to have a Mega hero and Nandamuri hero sharing the screen space together. It is very special to the Telugu audience.
The promotions were done heavily for this film and the next few days will also be filled with news and updates on ‘RRR’. The trailer which came out in December raised the expectations to a whole new level. All these summed up to the craziness among film lovers.
People are expecting this film to shatter old records and create new ones. With no big releases till ‘KGF-2’ arrives, ‘RRR’ is going to have ample time to create havoc at the box office.
‘RRR’ is produced by DVV Danayya over a budget of over 400 crores. SS Rajamouli is aiming to score another industry hit with this multi-starrer and MM Keeravani is the music composer. Alia Bhatt is playing the role of Sita in this film while Ajay Devgn will appear in a brief role. Olivia Morris is also a part of the film.
Apart from a few noted Hollywood actors, ‘RRR’ has actors like Shriya Saran, Rajeev Kanakala, Samuthirakani and others doing key roles.
NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem while Ram Charan plays the role of Alluri Seetha Ramaraju in this massive film which was delayed multiple times already. Senthil Kumar is the director of photography while Sabu Cyril is the production designer. Srinivas Mohan is the VFX supervisor for this huge project.
‘Ethara Jenda’ song which is expected to be a huge celebration will be released on 14th March.
