Rashmika Mandanna is celebrating her birthday today and fans are showering wishes from all over. The team of Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming film has released a special poster introducing Rashmika as the fierce and rebellious Afreen in their intense romantic drama. Directed by artistic filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi who is known for his intense and mature love stories, this film has been in the making for a long time. Dulquer plays the role of Lieutenant Ram.
The film is yet to be titled and it is the 7th production under the ‘Swapna Cinema’ banner and Vijayanthi Movies is presenting this epic love saga. Mrunal Thakur will be seen as the Sita for ‘Lieutenant’ Ram in this flick. The makers surprised the audience by revealing that happening beauty Rashmika Mandanna is a part of this project. It is not a regular heroine role as she is seen playing a Kashmiri Muslim girl named Afreen. The glimpse to introduce the character shows Rashmika Mandanna walking in front of a burning car. She wears a red hijab and carries a handbag.
Rashmika surely impresses with her look and arresting eyes in this glimpse and poster. Produced by Ashwini Dutt and Priyanka Dutt, this film will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. The posters and videos which introduced Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur’s characters garnered a lot of good response. Rashmika’s fierce avatar and her crucial role in this flick will surely raise the expectations. This movie is in the last leg of its production.
PS Vinod is the director of photography while Vishal Chandrasekhar is the music composer. Vaishnavi Reddy is the art director while the production design is done by Sunil Babu. Sheetal Sharma is the costume designer while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao will be editing this flick. The release date is expected to come out soon along with the title.
Rashmika is currently working on ‘Pushpa-The Rule’. She is also a part of Hindi films like ‘Mission Majnu’ alongside Siddharth Malhotra and ‘Goodbye’ where Amitabh Bachchan plays the main role. She is also being considered for a few big Hindi and Telugu projects.
