Dil Raju who is producing both Ram Charan’s RC16 and Thalapathy Vijay’s Thalapathy66 has apparently shuffled the release plans of these two films.
Earlier, Raju announced that RC15 will be releasing in theatres next Sankranthi season. This left Charan’s fans excited as they were hoping RC15 would entertain them in theatres during the 2023 Sankranthi season.
But now, reports are emerging, saying that Dil Raju has decided to postpone RC15 to 2023 summer and instead allot the Sankranthi 2023 slot for Thalapathy66.
Well, RC15 is cleary the more exciting film of the lot. It is Charan’s upcoming film after RRR and it is helmed by maverick filmmaker Shankar. The stakes are high on the film.
There is no belittling Thalapathy66, this film too is an exciting one. But RC15 is a pan-India biggie and it could have made the most of the Sankranthi advantage. But instead, Dil Raju has decided to shuffle the release plans for reasons best known to him.
As things stand Thalapathy 66 which will mark the coming together of Vijay, Vamshi Paidipally, Rashmika Mandanna, and Thaman will be releasing during 2023 Sankranthi. RC15 has been pushed to summer 2023. This film has Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles and it is directed by Shankar.
