Amid the alleged back-to-back meetings between Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao and political strategist Prashant Kishor, TPCC chief Revanth Reddy had cleared the air on the meeting and alleged that Prashant Kishore will not work for TRS and he would join the grand old Congress party.
Cut to 24 hours later, Revanth Reddy’s statements turned upside down as Prashant Kishor said that he is not joining the Congress party. Saying that the Congress party had made a generous offer, Prashant Kishor said he cannot accept the offer.
Now everyone wonders what Revanth Reddy will do now. The other day, Revanth alleged that in the coming days Prashant Kishor will join the Congress and they both will address the media and the people of the state will see Prashant Kishor lashing out at TRS and KCR.
While it is believed that Congress was not happy with Prashant Kishor and that’s the reason why it wanted to stay away from him, Revanth Reddy’s comments on Prashant Kishor will haunt him in the coming days.
It is interesting to see how Revanth Reddy would defend his comments on Prashant Kishore joining the Congress party and targeting the TRS. The entire episode is an example of how making early statements would cause damage.
