The Telangana Rashtra Samithi party founded by Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao is now enjoying massive support from the people of the state and the party workers. But it has come a long way to reach the place where it is right now. TRS had scripted history by establishing itself as one of the few regional parties that have been active for over two long decades.
Exactly, 21 years ago on this day, the TRS party was founded by TRS with a demand to have a special state for Telangana on linguistic and cultural grounds. After a long fight, Telangana has been carved out of the combined state and it has been over eight years since the separate state formation.
Today marks the 21st formation of the party which is celebrated as the Plenary Meeting. The famous Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) is hoisting the occasion and the party leaders and cadre have painted the whole city pink with party banners and flexes. The party offices across the state have also donned pink.
Making the 21st plenary meeting even more special, siblings Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao and Kavitha met each other on the occasion. The siblings who are in a happy mood looking at the success of the party started by their father celebrated the occasion by hugging each other. Both KTR and Kavitha are all smiles in the viral picture.
It is indeed a proud moment for the siblings given the place where the party is right now. After winning two consecutive polls in the state, the TRS is looking to foray into national politics and CM KCR is working on it. He had openly endorsed his idea and said that he intends to have an alternative front at the center which works as an alternative to BJP and Congress.
Proving himself as a successor of KCR, KTR is holding the key portfolios of the IT Industry in Telangana. He is bringing new companies to Hyderabad and Telangana to take forward the development. Not just that, KTR is also keeping his focus on improving the infrastructure. Many flyovers and connecting bridges were built in the state already.
