Amazon Prime Video has officially announced Naga Chaitanya’s debut web series Dhootha which is directed by Vikram K Kumar. The series is confirmed to be a supernatural horror thriller featuring Naga Chaitanya in the central role.
The series launch event was graced by Naga Chaitanya himself and it was a gala affair. The first glimpse of the event was also unveiled at the event.
“#DhoothaOnPrime: In this supernatural horror, possessed inanimate objects wreak havoc on the lives of people who commit deadly sins.” Amazon Prime tweeted a short while back as they hinted about the theme and the main plot of Dhoota.
Dhootha is commissioned by Amazon Prime Video and it is billed to be an edge of the seat thriller with a strong central plot that binds all the tropes and the nuances in the narrative together.
Malayali actress Parvathy is confirmed to pair with Chaitanya in the series and it will premiere on Amazon Prime Video towards the 3rd quarter of 2022. In all likelihood, it will stream on Amazon from August or September this year.
