The fight and confrontation between the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and Bharatiya Janata Party have been going on for many months. Many issues have added fuel to the fight and the heat around the issue is only getting bigger and bigger with each passing day.
Now both parties are fighting over respecting the office. Earlier, both parties had a big fight over the Governor’s Office issue. Telangana Chief Minister KCR skipping the event when PM Modi visited Hyderabad had raised many eyeballs. The issue took a big turn when KTR alleged that KCR skipped the even as directed by the PMO.
Speaking to a national media outlet ahead of the Plenary meeting. KTR had reportedly said that ahead of PM Narendra Modi’s visit, the PMO had instructed the Telangana CMO saying that KCR should not be present at the events and he should distance himself from the event.
When Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Hyderabad to inaugurate the Statue of Equality, to honor the famous saint Ramanujacharya, the PMO told the CMO that the Chief Minister should not visit the event, KTR had reportedly said in the interview.
Union Minister of State Union Minister of State had reacted to the issue and said that he had read in the news that the PMO had sent a message to CM KCR that he should not attend the programs. But the truth is that no such message was sent to the CMO.
Having said that, the Minister said, during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hyderabad visit, they expected that CM KCR would be present however, the PMO was informed that KCR was not keeping well and he would skip the program.
“Infact, the CM of Telangana was expected at the events on 5th February when PM visited Hyderabad. It was the CM’s office which informed the PMO that the CM was not feeling well and hence would not be attending,” the Minister said in a tweet.
With the BJP and TRS giving countering versions on the issue there is a lot of confusion and one wants to know what happened really and who is telling truth.
