Superstar Rajnikanth has been disappointing his fans with mediocre movies like ‘Darbar’ and ‘Annathe’ in recent times. The evergreen hero seems to be going all out when it comes to his upcoming film with young director Nelson Dilipkumar. It is Rajni’s 169th film and there are massive expectations on it. The announcement video garnered a lot of buzz around this project.
Nelson is looking to get back on the hit track after a failure like ‘Beast’ which damaged his reputation. He is reportedly going to get a lot of help this time. His film with Rajnikanth is going to have a lot of big names involved in it. Firstly, the ever-gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is going to be paired up with Rajni after 12 years. They were last seen together in ‘Robo’ and she took a gap from movies after that. They will reportedly be seen as husband and wife in this movie.
Also, versatile actress Ramya Krishnan will be playing a vital role in this movie. We all know about the iconic Neelambari role she did in Rajni’s ‘Narasimha’ which is etched in people’s minds forever. We need to wait and see how Ramya Krishnan’s role is going to be in #Rajni169. Also, happening beauty Priyanka Arul Mohan is also going to be a part of this project and the makers are searching for a young hero beside her. Also, it is Rajni himself who penned the story while veteran filmmaker KS Ravikumar is taking care of the screenplay. Above everything, Nelson will have the backing of Anirudh who will be giving some stupendous background scores to elevate the proceedings.
