CM KCR on Mission National Politics, New Party name Fixed?

It is an open secret that there is a big need for strong opposition or alternatives for the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) at the center. The grand old Congress is not in a position to counter the saffron party. Though they are regional parties that are not happy with the BJP, they cannot get the national fame that the BJP is enjoying now.

To fill the vacuum, the ruling party in Telangana Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) has been making statements that it wants to fit into that place. Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao aka KCR who waged a war with the Union government post the Paddy procurement row held a crucial meeting with the key meeting.

It is said that KCR called for a key meeting with the party leaders at the Pragathi Bhavan, the official residence of the Chief Minister on Friday. Various issues were discussed reportedly during the meeting and entering national politics is one of the issues.

In what it could be a sensational development, the Chief Minister reportedly told the leaders that the right time to foray into the bigger arena had arrived and the party name is expected to be Bharat Rashtra Samithi’ (BRS) or the Nava Bharat Party (NBP). Things are falling in place for the same and a massive announcement might come this month from KCR.

It has to be mentioned here that, CM KCR took the national politics entry seriously and he recently met like-minded leaders to gather support. Besides Chief Ministers of a few states, KCR also met the former Chief Minister of Karnataka and ex-Prime Minister in this regard. It is said that various issues related to national politics came for discussion and the leaders reportedly agreed to support KCR.

As KCR wants to fight the mighty BJP, he decided to get good mileage in the place where the BJP is facing the heat. For the same, KCR went to Punjab and handed over cheques to family members of farmers who lost their lives in the anti-Agri bills protests.

If everything goes as per plans, KCR will foray into national politics and emerge as an alternative force. If this happens, KCR becomes the second Telugu politician to shine at the national level after the late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.
