With the ongoing National Herald case, the Enforcement Directorate has been in the middle of the news for the past few days. ED grilling Rahul Gandhi gave birth to an intense political fight as the leaders and cadre of Congress from various states hit the road to protest.
The other day, Telangana saw violent protests from the Congress party against the union government for allegedly framing Rahul Gandhi in the case. The Congress leaders were so much involved in the protest that a few cops were handled. The Congress leaders reportedly held the cops by their collars.
The ED increased the political heat in Andhra Pradesh by doing a flash search at the offices and residences of Telugu Desam Party leaders JC Brothers. The ED teams showed up at the residences and offices and started searches. Multiple teams kept themselves busy with the searches
Media reports say that the Enforcement Directorate sleuths took the support of the local police in Tadipatri for security. As a result, cops were deployed in large numbers, and the roads that lead to the JC brothers’ houses were reportedly closed and special check posts came into place.
Not just JC Brothers, the residence of Chavvagopal Reddy, JC Prabhakar Reddy’s follower’s residence is also facing searches from the officials. It is an unexpected shock that ED raids are being carried out at a time. Besides Tadipatri, the houses and offices in Hyderabad that belong to the JC brothers are also being searched by the officials reportedly.
It has been widely reported that the JC brothers are facing searches in their houses and offices at multiple locations in connection with the old case. After the old case came back to bite the JC brothers, the ED officials are doing their work by conducting raids.
It has to be mentioned here that the JC brothers are accused of forging documents to register the buses. A couple of years back, the Andhra Pradesh Transport Department dug out a big scam involving the JC brothers. By using forged documents to register the Bharat Standard (BS) III vehicles as BS-IV. The registrations were carried out in Nagaland.
