After churning out entertaining commercial films with good doses of comedy and action, Gopichand Malineni moved away from his usual style and made ‘Krack’ with Ravi Teja. This action film did not have a strong story but was filled with good action episodes and a high dose of hero elevation scenes. This strategy worked out well and ‘Krack’ turned into a blockbuster.
Gopichand is directing Nandamuri Balakrishna now and inside sources claim that the movie may be titled ‘Jai Balayya’. Talk in tinsel town suggests that the ‘Balupu’ director is following his ‘Krack’ strategy for Nandamuri hero’s film too. Apparently, he has taken an age-old faction story and gave a new touch to it. There was a time when faction movies like ‘Narasimha Naidu’, ‘Samara Simha Reddy’, ‘Aadi’, ‘Indra’, ‘Chenna Keshava Reddy’ and others worked wonders at the box office. They slowly faded away but fans still wanted to see Balayya in such a powerful role for a long time.
News is that Gopichand Malineni penned a story on the same lines with revenge, sentiment and high doses of action. Balayya will be seen in a dual role and one huge fight scene will be shot in foreign too. Happening actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar will be seen as the ‘Akhanda’ hero’s sister in this movie according to sources and let us wait till the official news comes out.
Popular Kannada actor Duniya Vijay will be seen as the antagonist in this movie. Glamorous lady Shruti Hassan is going to be the female lead in this project. Tollywood’s leading production house Mythri Movie Makers are producing this much-awaited film. Thaman is the music composer and the teaser which came out on Balayya’s birthday got a phenomenal response.
