Ram Pothineni bagged a lot of mass appeal after the blockbuster result of ‘Ismart Shankar’. Along with the budgets of his movies, his market too grew drastically. The dubbed versions of his movies too get a lot of views on Youtube which became a huge opportunity for producers. They are willing to spend big bucks on the energetic hero off late.
His upcoming film ‘The warrior’ which is a bilingual movie has been made on a budget of 70 crores according to reports and it is the costliest movie in Ram’s career as of now. Sources claim that it is the highest spent movie in director Lingusamy’s career too. Apparently, the makers are getting good deals for this action entertainer.
The theatrical rights in the Andhra region were reportedly sold for 17 crores while the Nizam rights prize is yet to be finalized. Producers are reportedly expecting around 16 crores in this area. On the whole, the makers are expecting around 40-45 crores from the theatrical rights. Due to Ram’s craze in the dubbing market, the satellite rights and digital rights were sold for a sum of around 32 crores. News is that the producers are getting a good profit margin in this flick.
Interestingly, both Ram and Lingusamy signed their next projects under the same banner. Let us see how the film turns out. Directed by Lingusamy, Krithi Shetty is the heroine. Aadi Pinisetty is the villain while Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad composed the music. Apart from this project, he also announced a mass entertainer with star filmmaker Boyapati Sreenu.
