No matter what’s going on in their personal lives, the film stars down South usually maintain a certain amount of dignity in public and act socially responsible. We see many stars helping the people in need in various forms. Some stars don’t agree to endorse liquor brands no matter how much money they are offered.
Many big actors like Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, NTR and others did not promote alcoholic brands as it harmful to people. There were reports that Icon Staar Allu Arjun too did not take up the offer from a huge whiskey brand recently. A lot of his fans and the general public lauded the ‘Pushpa’ hero for standing by his values.
The latest we hear is that Tamil hero Simbu did the same too. Grapevine suggests that he turned down one such big alcoholic brand as he doesn’t want to influence his fans or followers in a bad way. As we know, STR has gone through a lot in the past couple of years and is bouncing back now.
Interestingly both Allu Arjun and Simbu worked on ‘Vedam’. While Bunny was seen as Cable Raju in the Telugu version, Simbu played the same role in the Tamil version of this beautiful film.
Currently, Allu Arjun is gearing up to work on ‘Pushpa 2’ which is one of the most-awaited films in the country while Simbu is busy with projects like ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’ and ‘Pathu Thala’.
