But now astonishing roumers are circulating that she was not really injured and that she faked the injury to withdraw from her ‘Maro Praja Prasthanam’ pada yatra because of her differences with Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s wife Bharati.
TDP leaders alleged that Sharmila faked the injury because the Congress party and Jagan colluded. They said the knee injury was just minor and doesn’t need so much rest. They said that Congress leaders had requested Jagan to make Sharmila take a break. Some reports also said that Sharmila’s husband Brother Anil Kumar has asked her to take a break for the Christmas.
YSRCP official spokesperson Ambati Rambabu has however dismissed all these reports. He said TDP has stooped down to such level that it was even disputing the surgery and spreading roumers about disputes between Sharmila and Bharati. He also dismissed the charge of collusion between Congress and YSRCP.
