SS Rajamouli is one of the most successful and most sought directors in Tollywood today. He is one director who can turn a comedian like Sunil or a tiny creature like Eega to Super Stars. However, the director says he is afraid of directing stars and their image.
In a recent interview, when asked about why he do not direct stars, he said,”I am scared of handling bigger stars. Big stars follow certain set patterns that have made them into superstars. If I have to make a film with them, I have to follow that pattern as money and expectations are at stake. And thus, I will not enjoy making that film. As a storyteller, I will have to make adjustments keeping the star in mind.”
Rajamouli will be very soon directing Prabhas in a historical movie. The preproduction of the movie is currently on and the movie will go on to sets early next year.
