Megastar Chiranjeevi is showing all youngsters how to make films at a rapid pace and bring great business to the film industry. He is arriving with ‘Godfather’ on October 5th and has ‘Bholaa Shankar’ getting ready to release in the first half of 2023. He is also working on #Mega154 which is going on at a rapid pace.
As we know, he officially announced an entertainer under young director Venky Kudumula’s direction. ‘RRR’ producer DVV Danayya will be bankrolling it. Venky is known for his hilarious films like ‘Bheeshma’ and ‘Chalo’. This protégé of Trivikram Srinivas has got the golden opportunity to work with Megastar very early in his career.
But there are a few doubts which are sprouting in people’s minds about the future of this project. After the official announcement, there is no update on this movie whatsoever. There were rumours that this project has been shelved but trusted sources claim that Megastar is still interested in working with the young director. Apparently, Venky Kudumula has completed narrating the first half and impressed the ‘Khaidi’ hero. The director is yet to narrate the second half and if he manages to get the green signal from Megastar, the project is expected to take off next year. Let us wait and see what happens.
For now, Megastar’s entire focus is on the promotions of ‘Godfather’ which is a remake of the Malayalam hit film ‘Lucifer’. Directed by Mohan Raja, this film is made on a grand scale and fans are eagerly waiting to watch it on the big screens. Since ‘Acharya’ turned out to be a disaster, Megastar is hoping to give a strong comeback with ‘Godfather’. Nayanthara and Salman Khan are playing key roles in this flick while star composer Thaman is giving the music.
