Upcoming Diwali Season To be Jam Packed For Tollywood?

The Festival season is empty for movie lovers without films. That’s the reason why the makers try to target the festival season. The chances of films becoming successful are very high during the seasons as movie lovers want to watch films for the season.

On the eve of the Dasara festival, Tollywood had three releases today. Chiranjeevi’s GodFather, Nagarjuna’s The Ghost, and newcomer Bellamkonda Ganesh’s Swathi Muthyam. The three films hit the theatres today and all the films received good responses and are seeing good collections. Besides Dasara, Sankranthi and Diwali are the other two big seasons for Tollywood.

As Dasara had a good season, the focus is now on the upcoming Diwali season. As many as six films were locked for the season including a few interesting films. Besides Telugu films, dubbed films are also aiming for the season.

Tamil hero Sivakarthikeyan became a noted name in Telugu as his few films did good business here. He is awaiting the release of his upcoming bilingual film titled Prince. Jathi Ratnalu fame Anudeep is the director and it is said that Prince will hit the theatres on Diwali in Telugu and Tamil too.

Tollywood young hero Vishwak Sen is also coming for the season reportedly. His upcoming film Ori Devuda might arrive at theatres during the season. The film is carrying high expectations. Mithila Parkar is playing the leading lady.

Manchu scion Vishnu might also try his luck with his upcoming film Jinnah. Though the official announcement is yet to be made, the film might clash with other films in the Diwali season.

Nandini Reddy’s Anni Manchi Sakunamule and Daggubati Abhiram’s debut film Ahimsa might also come to theatres for the festival season. If all the films arrive at theatres, then the season is going to be paisa Vasool.
