Tamil star hero Karthi has a very good market in Telugu states as well. It is not an unknown fact as his movies are performing well in Telugu right from ‘Yuganiki Okkadu’ days. They loved his performance in ‘PS – 1’ too and termed it as the only saving grace of the film. He even acted in ‘Oopiri’ alongside Nagarjuna and stole everyone’s hearts.
Now, he is arriving with ‘Sardar’ on 21st October. Nagarjuna is releasing the Telugu dubbed version under his Annapurna Studios banner. The team arranged a pre-release event for ‘Sardar’ and Karthi showed his love towards Nag with a sweet gesture on stage. The ‘Awaara’ hero sang Nagarjuna’s classic romantic song ‘Kannullo Nee Rupame’ from ‘Ninne Pelladatha’. Karthi sang it quite well and Nagarjuna was by his side absolutely loved it. His sweet gesture drew a lot of cheers from the audience.
Karthi even danced on stage and his positive energy was in full display. The video of Karthi singing Nag’s song on stage is currently going viral on the internet. Coming to ‘Sardar’, it is written and directed by PS Mithran. Rajisha Vijayan and Raashi Khanna are the female leads in this project.
Chunky Panday is the villain in this project which has opted for a theatrical release in Telugu and Tamil languages. The rest of the cast includes Laila, Munishkanth, Ashwin, Yog Japi, Nimmy, Balaji Sakthivel, Elavarasu and others. George C Williams is the cinematographer while GV Prakash Kumar composed the music.
