From Body Shaming to Self-Care, How Upasana Found Inner Strength

Upasana Kamineni Konidela, a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist, recently opened up about her experiences of being trolled and body shamed on social media. She spoke about the negative impact it had on her mental health and how she learned to overcome it.

In the initial days of her marriage to Tollywood actor Ram Charan, Upasana became a target of online trolls who criticized her weight and physical appearance. While it was challenging for her to deal with the negative comments initially, she learned to ignore them and focus on her work and health instead.

Upasana’s story is unfortunately not uncommon. Women, in particular, are often subjected to body shaming and trolling on social media, which can have a damaging effect on their mental health. It is concerning that people feel the need to comment on someone’s physical appearance without considering the impact of their words.

It is important to remember that body shaming and trolling are not acceptable behaviors. We should all strive to be kind and respectful towards one another, both online and offline. Instead of focusing on someone’s physical appearance, we should celebrate their achievements and contributions to society.
