Star heroine Samantha’s first mythological drama ‘Shaakunthalam’ is going to arrive on the big screens within a few hours. The special screenings are already done and there is a decent buzz on this movie. As we know, she is doing a romantic entertainer titled ‘Khushi’ with Vijay Deverakonda as the hero. They formed a good friendship during the shooting of ‘Khushi’ and VD wrote a sweet letter to Samantha on the occasion of her movie’s release.
He said, “Dear Sammy, you are so full of love, always wanting to do right, spread cheer, still giving your everything for each shot in a film as if your entire career depends on it. The world might never know what a fighter you have been the past 1 year, always trying to put a smile and your best foot forward for your teams, films and fans even though your body needs a break, needs rest.”
He wished her all the luck for ‘Shaakunthalam’ which is releasing tomorrow. He added, “Your will and the love of millions will always keep you safe. It will all be well. Love always, Vijay.” Samantha is moved by these touching words as she replied, “At a loss for words.. Really needed this. Thank you my hero!!”
Coming to other projects of Samantha, she is also the female lead in the Indian version of ‘Citadel’. Varun Dhawan and Samantha are playing lead roles in this action-filled web series. ‘Shaakunthalam’ has Sam playing he title role while Mohan Babu, Dev Mohan, Prakash Raj and others played key roles. Gunasekhar produced and directed this movie while Dil Raju is releasing it.
