Superstar Rajinikanth became the target of the YSRCP leaders over the comments he made on Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Rajinikanth calling Chandrababu a visionary leader did not go well with the YCP. The war of words has been going on between the TCP and TDP.
Now a new news has come out which alleges that Tamil actor Jiiva is reportedly being considered for the lead role in Yatra-2. Though nothing is confirmed yet reports are doing rounds on this.
With this a debate is going on how a Tamil hero can play the lead actor when a Tamil hero cannot talk about the politics here. The Telugu Desam Party followers and sympathizers are placing their versions on the issue. People with neutral stand are also supporting the version.
Now Rajinikanth fans are came into the picture and are reportedly asking Jiiva not to act in this as they did not forget how their matinee idol was ridiculed and targeted by the ruling party leaders.

Now the same is reportedly happening and Rajinikanth fans don’t want the Tamil hero to act in the biopic. Tamil Nadu is known for die hard fans and if the movie is made then they might even go for a boycott of the biopic.
Usually when a biopic is made on any personality, the makers of the film try to go for actors from the same language so that the depiction will be on point. But due to various reasons, Malayalam Superstar Mammootty played the lead role in Yatra, which is based on YSR. For the sequel, director Mahi V Raghav reportedly wants to go with a Tamil actor.
