These days, it is not just the hero but the other artists involved in the movie are also turning up for the promotions. We have seen Jagapathi Babu promoting ‘Aravinda Sametha’ and many other movies in which he played important roles. He even gave interviews for his recent release ‘Rama Banam’. The villain for ‘Agent’ was involved in the promotions too. We have seen every actor who worked on a Rajamouli film getting involved in promotions. During ‘Virupaksha’ promotions, they introduced each and every character to the audience publicly.
While we have seen the entire cast of ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ promote their film throughout the country, stars like Nayanthara and Vijay will not promote their movie in Telugu. With ‘Custody’ being promoted ahead of its release, Naga Chaitanya is giving a lot of interviews and is patiently answering questions about his private life as well. Even director Venkat Prabhu, heroine Krithi Shetty and Priyamani who played a key role are promoting the film while Aravind Swamy is nowhere to be seen.
One of the biggest attractions of this movie is Aravind Swamy playing the villain role. His character in the trailer created a lot of hype and he is nowhere to be seen in the movie promotions. The film’s unit reveals that Aravind Swamy is busy with movie shootings and it is the reason why he is not taking part in the promotions. We need to see if he comes out and promotes the movie from now on or stays calm.
Priyamani, Sampath, Vennela Kishore, and others played key roles. Srinivasaa Chitturi of Srinivasaa Silver Screen is bankrolling the film while Abburi Ravi has penned dialogues. The legendary father-son duo of Maestro, Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja, and little Maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja are going to score tunes for the film and Pavan Kumar will be presenting this ambitious project.
