Court Sees No Urgency in Aipurush Plea!

It did not take much time for the much-awaited film Adipurush to become much trolled one. Ever since the film was released the criticism towards it became intense. The demand to ban the film got momentum. Even seers supported the demand. The makers are severely bashed for hurting the sentiments and misrepresenting the characters.

A Hindu body even moved the court seeking a ban on the film. The court granted a big relief to the film by saying that there is no urgency in hearing the petition and the screenings of the film can also be stopped now.

This can be seen as a big relief for the film as we are hearing that the collections dropped starting this week. If the screenings were banned, then it would add another burden.

However, the High Court in the national capital Delhi said that there is no emergency in the case and the screenings of Adipurush will not be stopped now. The Court said this while hearing a petition filed by Hindu Sena.

Not just the Right Wing, but the left wing also slammed the makers. Very rarely we see both wings coming on to a common opinion. But this happened with Adipurush.

Adipurush landed in controversy with many objections like the wrong portrayal of characters and the costumes they donned. Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna breathed fire on the film and said that they did not read the epic Ramayana.

Adipurush is helmed by Om Raut and stars Prabhas in the lead role. Kriti Sanon and Said Ali Khan played key roles. The Pan-India film was released on the 16th of this month. T-Series and Retrophiles jointly bankrolled the flick.
