Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ongoing US tour is raising eyeballs due to various reasons. The US President held a state reception for him and Joe Biden couple gave a warm welcome. The White House held a state reception for only two leaders after Joe Biden became the US President and Narendra Modi is the third person to get the honour.

Touching the feet of elderly people to seek blessings is not new to Indians as we grew up watching this. Award-winning American singer Mary Millben touched the feet of Narendra Modi and took his blessings. The pictures of the singer touching Modi’s feet became viral.
At the event held by the United States Indian Community Foundation (USICF), American singer Mary Millben performed the Indian national anthem, Jana Gana Mana. She expressed her happiness about this and said that she is feeling honoured to sing the national anthem for Narendra Modi.
Mary Millben became popular in India with renditions of the National Anthem and devotional song “Om Jai Jagdish Hare”. Now she became a big sensation in India after the picture of her touching Modi’s feet went viral.
Taking to social media, the singer said that she will treasure the night forever and thanked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his warmth and kindness.
