Talented hero Allari Naresh is trying quite hard to erase the comedy hero image he has lately. He is trying his hand at more serious films with movies like ‘Naandhi’ and ‘Ugram’ and even if he does comedy, it has to be a situational comedy like ‘Jathi Ratnalu’. There is a talk about him teaming up with Anudeep KV as well.
In the meanwhile, he is all set to do a period drama genre. As we know, period films are the order of the day in recent times. In this backdrop, they are expected to narrate a story with an emotional touch. Subbu who made ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’ is directing this flick. The backdrop of the movie is expected to be the 1980s. The movie is reportedly going to take place in Subbu’s own area East Godavari.
Rajesh Danda who produced movies like ‘Naandi’ and ‘Samajavaragamana’ is going to bankroll this movie. The official announcement regarding this project will be out soon.
Allari Naresh started off his career as a hero who does comedy films. He earned a lot of fame through his entertaining films but he changed his route a bit these days. With the routine formulaic comedy content not working out, he rediscovered himself and started doing serious films. His last three movies are quite different from his regular outings.
