After making a mark in the Hindi film industry, Janhvi Kapoor, the elder daughter of yesteryear diva Sridevi and veteran producer Boney Kapoor, is all set to make her debut in the Telugu film industry with the pan-India action drama “Devara,” featuring Jr NTR and directed by Koratala Siva. However, if the latest buzz in Tamil film circles is to be believed, Janhvi might soon step into the world of Tamil cinema as well.
According to reports, the makers of an ongoing film, helmed by actor-filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan, are in discussions with Janhvi for the female lead role in their project. Director Vignesh Shivan is said to have recently met Janhvi and narrated the story along with her character. While Janhvi’s confirmation is yet to be received, sources suggest that she is quite positive about the offer. Further clarity on Janhvi’s entry into the Tamil film industry is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
This yet-to-be-titled film is being produced by the legendary Tamil actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan under his banner, Raaj Kamal International Films. The music for the movie will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander, adding to the excitement surrounding the project.
