Star heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu is not having a great 2023 so far. She arrived in theatres with ‘Yashoda’ and ‘Shaakunthalam’ but both of them ended up as big failures. After recovering from that shock, Sam is currently working on ‘Khushi’ directed by Shiva Nirvana. The movie has completed three schedules till date and the last schedule is reportedly going on right now. The production work will be wrapped up in the next few days.
The news came out that the actress is going to take a break for a year from movies. Apparently, she will be completing all the commitments before taking a break. Sources say that her health issues are a major reason behind this decision. As we know, Sam faced serious health issues during the initial months of 2023. She took treatment by going abroad for a couple of weeks. She is recovered from it and is working on ‘Khushi’ and ‘Citadel’ Indian version now.
The actress recently took to Instagram and poster a close up shot of herself and claimed that she had a very hard time in the last few months. Sam wrote, “The longest and the hardest six months it has been… Made it to the end.” This post is getting a lot of attention of social media and her fans are conveying their best wishes to the actress.
Samantha is playing the female in the Indian version of ‘Citadel’ which is being made by Raj & DK. Varun Dhawan is the main lead and the shooting is currently going on. here are reports arriving that she may even act as the female lead in Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s next film with Nandini Reddy. But with the news of her taking a year’s leave going viral, we need to see what happens.
